Lane Reduction on the J.C. Van Horn Bridge
Campbellton, NB, April 20th 2022 – Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) wishes to advise motorists of alternating lane reductions on the J.C. Van Horn Bridge for inspections during the following periods:
From Monday April 25th 2022 to Friday April 29thth 2022, at 09h00 to 16h00
From Saturday April 30th 2022 to Sunday May 1st 2022, at 07h00 to 19h00
During this period, lanes will be reduced to one lane traffic with signalers or traffic lights. One sidewalk will remain open to pedestrians at all time. Vehicles, cyclists and pedestrians may encounter delays.
PSPC will communicate again should lane closure be extended beyond May 1st, 2022.
PSPC encourages users to exercise caution when travelling on the bridge and thanks them for their patience.
On April 23rd, from 9:00 am to 4:30pm, Listuguj Environment will be holding a hazardous waste disposal event at the Public Works Garage. Anyone who brings household hazardous waste to the Public Works garage will have a chance to win one of the $100 gift card or a brand new bike. This is an important notice that a power outage has occurred in our region. According to the Director of Public Security, the issue is being addressed, and the expected return to power in our region will be approximately 8:45pm, tonight April, 14th, 2022. Water has been restored by Public Works to Listuguj. We will continue to further update our community as this power outage situation unfolds.

The Listuguj Mi’gmaw Language and Culture Revitalization Program along with the Office of Chief and Council are holding a coloring contest!
There will be up to 3 prizes to be won! Coloring pages can be picked up at the LMG office, Alaqsite’w Gitpu School, Listuguj Education, Training & Employment Directorate, The Pst Office and the Listuguj Mi’maq Development Center.
