Transfer Station & Garbage Removal
The facility has been in operation since 2009 and is open to the local public for the disposal of residential and construction debris. A designated area on-site allows for the separation of various types of waste, including tires, appliances, organic materials, household waste, chemical waste (e.g., paint), and more.
The site operates Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (closed during the lunch hour) and is located on the left of Qospem Road after the tracks. The site actively monitored to ensure proper use and safety.
Curbside pickup is available every Thursday between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
Eco-Center
The Eco-Center is located at the Public Works Garage. It is a designated facility where local residents and businesses can safely dispose of a wide variety of waste materials—particularly items that cannot be collected through regular garbage or recycling services.
The goal of the Eco-Center is to promote environmentally responsible waste management by encouraging proper sorting, recycling, and disposal.
Accepted Items Include:

Light bulbs containing mercury (e.g., fluocompact, neon, etc.)

Paints, stains, varnishes, and aerosols

Batteries

Used oil and oil filters

Chlorine products

Electronics (e.g., TVs, computers, phones, etc.)

Hazardous materials (e.g., acids, glue, thinner, cleaners, solvents)
