Governance
Today, we are rebuilding our nation. As such, we need to have meaningful dialogue about governance with all community members. By talking and working together, we can create a unified vision for Listuguj, which will allow us to move forward as a People.
As Mi’gmaq, we have never ceded or surrendered our rights to our ancestral territory of Gespe’gewa’gi. Likewise, we have never given up our right to govern and to manage our resources in accordance with our values, our beliefs and our principles.
