In-Person Training Course for First Nations Electoral Officials

Indigenous Services Canada National Office is currently trying to organize an in-person training course for First Nations electoral officials, and would like to see how many community members from Listuguj would be interested in this training.

This would be a combined training on elections held under the Indian Act and the First Nations Elections Act.

The training would take place in the early spring 2024 in the Ottawa/Gatineau region, to accommodate as many people as possible. There would be participants from the Ontario and Quebec regions. The training would be for two days.

If enough participants from Listuguj and Gesgapegiag are interested, there is a possibility the National Office team could travel to the region for training.

If you are interested, please send your name to Jill Martin at jill.martin@listuguj.ca
