Looing for Snow Removal Contractors
Interested snow removal contractors are invited to submit quotations to Listuguj Mi’gmaq Government for the LMG Band Building (17 River side West) and Community Development Centre building (42 Dundee Road) by noon on November 17, 2023. The quotation is to include the amount for the following services during workdays for the two buildings:
· All exits/entrances shovelled and cleared before 8h30 AM,
· Salt for the walkway and exits before 8h30 and during the day if needed
· Snow removal of the LMG roof – twice during the season

The Listuguj Indigenous Governance Symposium is coming up Wednesday, November 15th and Thursday, November 16th at the Listuguj Community Development Centre.

Influenza & Covid-19 Vaccination Clinic
The Listuguj Community Health Services will be holding another Influenza & Covid-19 vaccination clinic on November 16th, 2023. Influenza vaccines are available for those who have not yet received one this year. Covid-19 vaccines are available, while supplies last, for those who are eligible to receive one.
*For those who wish to receive the Covid-19 booster, the interval is 6 months or more since the last dose of a Covid-19 vaccine or a confirmed infection. *
Home Care clients will be contacted.

Mi’gmaw History Month – Call Out
The Listuguj Mi’gmaq Government’s Communications department is announcing a call out for children’s essays, stories, poetry, or artwork for a chance to be featured in the community newsletter, the Wi’gatign.
For Mi’gmaw History Month, we’re asking children aged 3-17, what does being Mi’gmaq mean to you?
