Listuguj Moose Hunting

The Listuguj Mi’gmaq Government Natural Resources Directorate has a community release in regards to Moose Hunting.

Indigenous people from communities outside of Gespe’gewa’gi, will require written permission from the LMG—a Letter of Communal Authority—to harvest in on Listuguj territory within Gespe’gewa’gi, even if they are accompanied by a Listuguj community member.

The Bivalent Moderna COVID Vaccine Will Be Available in Listuguj

The Listuguj Community Health Center is pleased to announce that the Bivalent Moderna COVID Vaccine will be available in Listuguj.

We will be offering the Bivalent Moderna COVID vaccine to all Listuguj community members 18 years and over who:

 Have received at least two doses of a previous COVID vaccine (Moderna or Phizer) and it has been more than 5 months since your last dose

 Or

 You have had a previous dose(s) of a COVID vaccine and have had COVID.  It must be at least 3 months since the infection.

 

Our vaccination clinic will be held in the community at the Listuguj Community Health center on October 7th, 2022

Our clinic will run from 9-4. By appointment only.

Call the Health Center at 418-788-2155 and speak with Jennifer Caplin, for an appointment.

We will require your name, date of birth and Medicare number.

Weather Advisory – September 22, 2022

This is a public advisory for Listuguj and surrounding areas.
Hurricane Fiona is expected to affect terrestrial areas in Atlantic Canada on Saturday and offshore southern areas on Friday.
We ask that the community prepare for stormy inclement weather and possible power outages over the weekend.
Make sure provisions such as food, water, candles, and other emergency supplies are available in the event of a power outage.
For families with elders and vulnerable persons, please monitor closely and contact the Listuguj Police Department for any emergencies at 418-788-2003 or 911.
Please bring in your pets as they may be vulnerable to the climate and be sure to secure movable articles on your property in anticipation of severe weather.

Offers signed under seal, executed, dated and marked “Asphalt Paving – Terminal 4 (C009)” will be received until 2:00 p.m. (local time), October 4, 2022, via email at tenders@portofbelledune.ca.  Opening of tenders will follow immediately, however the opening will not be open to the public.

 

Each offer must be accompanied by a Bid Bond in the amount of 10% of the total Bid price, executed in the favour of the Belledune Port Authority. The successful Bidder will have to submit to the Owner, at the time of the contract execution, a Performance Bond and a Labour and Material Payment Bond, each equal to 50% of the Contract amount.

 

The Bidding procedures shall be defined under the “Instructions to Bidders” section of the tender document.  Bidders will be required to register at https://portofbelledune.ca/about-us/rfps-tenders/ to obtain the bid documents.  Registrations will be accepted starting September 13, 2022, at 8:00 a.m. (local time).

Chaque soumission doit être accompagnée d’un bon de cautionnement au montant de 10 % du total de la soumission, payable à l’Administration portuaire de Belledune.
