Healing in Motion Event

The Listuguj Wellness Renewal Initiative (LWRI) will be hosting a “Healing in Motion” event on Thursday, November 27th from 9AM to 1PM.
There will be a community smudge starting at the Listuguj Community Development Center (Bingo Hall) at 9AM and ending at Alaqsite’w Gitpu School (AGS). Community members are welcome to join in with their vehicles and follow to AGS.
Inside AGS, you’ll find resource booths offering wellness-related information from local entrepreneurs and Listuguj Mi’gmaq Government services and programs.
Join us for a morning dedicated to wellness, featuring prizes and lunch!

Offers signed under seal, executed, dated and marked “Asphalt Paving – Terminal 4 (C009)” will be received until 2:00 p.m. (local time), October 4, 2022, via email at tenders@portofbelledune.ca.  Opening of tenders will follow immediately, however the opening will not be open to the public.

 

Each offer must be accompanied by a Bid Bond in the amount of 10% of the total Bid price, executed in the favour of the Belledune Port Authority. The successful Bidder will have to submit to the Owner, at the time of the contract execution, a Performance Bond and a Labour and Material Payment Bond, each equal to 50% of the Contract amount.

 

The Bidding procedures shall be defined under the “Instructions to Bidders” section of the tender document.  Bidders will be required to register at https://portofbelledune.ca/about-us/rfps-tenders/ to obtain the bid documents.  Registrations will be accepted starting September 13, 2022, at 8:00 a.m. (local time).

Indian Summer Games Registration

The deadline to register for the Indian Summer Games in Oromocto, Gagetown is July 1st, 2019. July 31st is track & field day and the rest of the games will take place August 6th to the 9th.

If your child/children would like to participate, please feel free to drop by the Listuguj Youth Center Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.  Also, parents are encouraged to come and support their kids during these week-long activities. To register your child, we will need their name, date of birth, band number and contact number.

 

Games:

Swimming – 10-12 years old, 13-15 years old and 16-19 years old

Golf – 16-19 years old

Rugby (female, male and coed) – 13-15 years old

Tball – 5-6 years old

Archery (traditional male) – 10-12 years old, 13-15 years old, and 16-19 years old

Co-ed softball – 7-9 years old, 10-12 years old, 13-15 years old, and 16-19 years old

Co-ed soccer – 5-6 years old, 7-9 years old, 10-12 years old, 13-15 years old, and 16-19 years old

Co-ed basketball – 7-9 years old 3 on 3 and female/male ages 10-12, 13-15, and 16-19

Badminton (female/male) – 10-12 years old, 13-16 years old and 17-19 years old

Canoeing (female, male and mixed couples) – 16-19 years old

Volleyball (female/male) – 10-13 years old, 14-16 years old, and 17-19 years old. Limit one team per division.
