Sharps Disposal Container Locations

Attention Community Members!
We would like to remind you all that there are 4 sharps disposal containers located around Listuguj those being at:
1. Pow Wow Grounds
2. Behind the Youth Center & Fire station
3. At the Listuguj Community Health Center
4. Along the fence of the Pump House in the field
If you need to dispose of sharps after usage these are the places to drop them off at.

Water Boil Order Lift

Attention Community Members!

The results of our Water Testing indicate that it is safe to drink and use now.

As of now the water boil order has been lifted!

Boil Order in Effect

 

There is a precautionary boil order in effect for Listuguj.

During a precautionary boil water advisory, all water destined for drinking, preparing infant formulas and juices, making ice cubes, washing fruits and vegetables, cooking, and dental hygiene must be held at a rolling boil for 1 minute. Adults, adolescents, and older

children may shower, bathe, or wash using tap water but should avoid swallowing the water. Toddlers and infants should be sponged bathed, and caregivers must ensure no water is drunk or

swallowed. Dishes and laundry may be washed in tap water by hand or machine.

 

This advisory is in effect until further notice

National Truth and Reconciliation Event

Along with the closing of LMG there will also be an event hosted by LCHS and LCSSD to celebrate National Truth and Reconciliation.

There will be a turkey dinner, door prizes, and more for all who come to the event.

It will be hosted on Sept.30th from 10am-2pm at the Listuguj Community Hall.

Upcoming Leak Detection Test

Listuguj Public works will be performing a leak detection test Wednesday September 17th between midnight and 5 am. There will be a brief period where the water will be shut off during that time. 

Apple Sauce Making

Reminder for those who signed up for the apple sauce making that apple sauce making is tomorrow at the Apoqnmatultneg wellness center 5PM
dinner is provided.

2025 Fall Lobster Tag Registrations.

There are 235 traps for the entire 2025 Fall Lobster Season. LMG will fish 60 traps and the remaining 175 traps will be shared equally amongst the registered fishers. Each fisher will receive 9 traps each. Community members can access 1 tag through a registered fisher. However, tags are limited.
