Gespe’gewa’gi, – Today marks an important step for the Mi’gmaq of Gespe’gewa’gi. In partnership with Alliance de l’énergie de l’Est and Hydro-Québec, the Mi’gmawei Mawiomi Business Corporation has committed to exploring the wind power potential of Gespe’gewa’gi. This initiative reflects the Mi’gmaq vision of exercising their rights and responsibilities on their territory to create a greener, more prosperous future.

Muin Ji’j Center’s After School Program – UPDATE

Due to unforeseen circumstances, Muin Ji’j Center’s after-school program for the 2025–2026 school year will be operating with a reduced number of registrations. As a result, we will only be accepting registrations for children enrolled in nursery or kindergarten for this school year.
We would like to remind families that the Listuguj Youth and Family Center’s after-school program will continue to take registrations for their K-Grade 1 group. To register your child for this group, please call (418) 788-3150 starting at 9am on Tuesday, August 26th to schedule your registration appointment.

33rd Annual Listuguj First Nation Pow Wow – Aug 2&3

The 33rd Annual Listuguj First Nation Pow Wow is happening this weekend!
Join us on Friday evening for some live music from the Mi’gmaq Boys and Frieda Goman starting at 7PM.
Saturday’s Grand Entry is at 1PM, Sunday’s Grand Entry is at noon!
As always, no drugs, no alcohol, no violence, and no dogs.

Clothing Incentive – Social Assistance

The Listuguj Community Social Services Directorate’s, Social Assistance Program will be providing a clothing incentive for children for the month of August, in the amount of $200 per child. (*Must be a Social Assistance client.)
