Summary of Function:
The Recreation Monitor will assist in the monitoring of public spaces (rink/skate park, splash pad, playground, and ballfield) overseen by the Recreation Department whose objectives are aimed at delivering services to Listuguj youth and community members. The Recreation monitor will further support the Recreation Coordinator and organization in the deployment of recreational programs as assigned. The Recreation Monitor will enforce established organization policies and provide guidance to youth accessing programs and services. The Recreation Monitor will work 35 hours per week Tuesday to Friday 12:30pm to 9:00pm Saturday 12:00 pm -5:00 pm.
Job Duties:
· Monitor and maintain grounds overseen by the Recreation Department, including the rink/skatepark, playground, splashpad and ballfield. For example:
o Ensuring grounds are clear/free of garbage and harmful/dangerous items, ensuring grass is mowed regularly, etc.).
o Ensure the upkeep of the public spaces, salting grounds, flooding the rink, shoveling, snow-blowing as needed.
· Assist in the assembly of supplies and sports and game equipment as needed.
· Demonstrate leadership, guidance, and direction to youth part-taking in programs and activities.
· Assist the Recreation Coordinator in leading groups and individuals in recreational or leisure programs being provided.
· Attend to clients with special needs.
· Provide healthy lifestyle awareness information.
· Remain impartial, ensure professional boundaries.
· Monitor recreational, sports or fitness equipment and assist in maintaining inventory.
· Enforce safety rules and regulations.
· Assist Coordinator with special events, activities and programs as assigned.
· Maintain logs, incident reports, and records of youth participating in activities and programming.

Requirements:
· Demonstrated ability for recreational activities, sports, or fitness and discipline is required.
· Demonstrate a willingness to collaborate, self-motivation, and interest in building capacities.

· Experience/knowledge of child development and working with children and youth would be considered an asset.
· Experience in sports and recreational field is essential.

Summary of Function:
Under the supervision of the Mawo’Itijig Mijjuaji’g Director, the Intervention Support Worker (ISW) is responsible for supporting the identified child during daily activities in the childcare setting. The ISW is a part of an integrated team and will provide early intervention support to one child experiencing developmental delays. The ISW is responsible for guiding and implementing developmentally appropriate programs that are strength based, child-centered and family-directed to maximize success. The location of work for the position is at the: Mawo’Itijig Mijjuaji’g childcare centre.
Job Duties:
· Supervises, guides, and assists the child in daily activities.
· Supports the child, through one-on-one intervention, to full inclusion.
· Works as part of a larger integrated team of professionals.
· Meets quarterly with Jordan’s Principle-Listuguj, the child’s family, and other resources to review goals and assess progress and make changes to supports where needed.
· Submits progress reports to the Jordan’s Principle team quarterly.
· Follows professional assessment recommendations (speech and language pathologist, occupational therapist, pediatrician…etc.)
· Plans, prepares, and implements daily activities (indoor/outdoor) as they relate to the curriculum.
· Collaborate with VIVA Therapeutic services.
· Must follow the child to Head Start/AGS.
Requirements:
· Education and/or Experience: College Diploma in Early Childhood Education (ECE), Educational Assistant (EA) and/or equivalent experience.
· ASD training is mandatory.
· Current First Aid and CPR certification
· Ability to work well as both, part of an integrated team and independently.
· Administrative requirements to be able to properly fill out observation forms and create a summary of child needs.
· Experience working with children with special needs or willing to take training.

· Provide manager with updated lists of supplies required for the day-to-day functioning of the centre
· Ensure that the overall cleanliness, chores/upkeep of the shelter is routinely maintained
· Prepare and complete resident discharge package according to established policy and procedures.
· Ensure the safety and security of the shelter is maintained by monitoring alarm system, video surveillance system, doors and windows are secured, driveways and entrances are free of obstructions
· Maintain and respect case sensitive information and material confidentiality with respect to all aspects of work within the shelter
Requirements:
· Minimum High School completion

The Child Care Worker is asked to be self-motivated, energetic, and responsible. Job Duties:

Summary of Function:
The function of the AGS School Nurse is to manage a health services program for the assessment, evaluation, maintenance and improvement of the health of students and staff; strengthen and facilitate the educational process by improving and protecting the health status of students; participates in the identification of and assist in the removal or modification of health-related barriers to learning in individual students; promote the prevention of illness and disability as well as early detection and correction of health problems. This position is shared between the Listuguj Education Directorate and the Listuguj Community Health Services (LCHS); when not engaged in school-based responsibilities, the nurse will provide professional health services assigned by LCHS.
Job Duties:
· Administers basic health care and First Aid for the purpose of providing appropriate care for ill, medically fragile and/or injured children.
· Assesses and evaluates the health and developmental status of pupils for the purpose of identifying physical disorders and other factors affecting the learning process, communicating with the primary care provider, and contributing significant information to modify the pupil’s individualized education/health plan.
· Collaborate with parents, students, health care providers, and/or other agencies for the purpose of promoting needed treatment, securing information and complying with legal requirements.
· Conducts programs and/or activities (e.g., in-service training, immunization review, growth & development, pediculosis screening & education).
· Designs health maintenance plans for the purpose of addressing students’ health needs and implementing health care directions from parents and/or physicians.

The incumbent must ensure that their vehicles are operating properly each day by conducting testing and inspections. Drivers are also responsible for maintaining a safe environment within the bus by enforcing rules of conduct and responding to emergencies. The incumbent must keep track of the amount of fuel used, number of students transported, and kilometers driven, which typically report to their supervisor each week.
Job Duties:
· Safely driving students to and from school, following a prescribed route, on a daily basis during the school year.
· Performing daily vehicle safety inspections.
· Communicating clearly and interacting with parents, school employees, passengers, co-workers and the public in a courteous, professional manner.
· Extra assignments may be available.

Requirements:
· High school diploma or equivalent.
· Be at least 21 years of age to hold a School Bus Driver’s License in Quebec.
· Minimum of 2 years of driving experience as per provincial regulations.
· Hold a valid (non-probationary) Driver’s License and a good driving record.
· Fluent in English
· Ability to pass a Ministry prescribed Medical Examination.
· Pre-employment drug screen required.
· Ability to pass a Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector Check.
· Knowledge of Highway and School Bus Regulations.
· Valid Class 2 Quebec Driver’s License.
· Valid Quebec Certificate of Competence to drive a bus/minibus used for the transportation of school children, which requires:
-15 Hours of initial training.
– 6 Hours of retraining every three years thereafter.
