The Listuguj Unified Command has been made aware of by the New Brunswick’s Director of Public Health that the Campbellton Regional Hospital (CRH) will be moving into a red state of recovery due to a localized outbreak within the facility.

Chief Darcy Gray will continue to remain in contact with NB Public Health to ensure the health and safety of Listuguj members will not be impacted. While we don’t expect this outbreak to affect the community. We continue to urge health and safety protocols for anyone that has visited recently (self-monitor for symptoms and get tested when showing several symptoms).

We encourage community members that require medical services to instead utilize the services at the hospital in Maria, Qc until the outbreak at the CHR is declared over.

We understand this may inconvenience some that have to travel, but we should all take steps to ensure the safety of community members.
