Listuguj Adult & Elderly Care
Welcome
The Adult and Elderly Care program promotes adult and elderly participation in our community based activities. By working with the community resources, our goal is to ensure our adult and elderly population are educated on their rights and privileges. We promote programs on elder mistreatment, health, wellness and safety of our adult and elderly community members.
We encourage community members to become proactive in their health and safety and not to become a victim of abuse in any form.
The Adult and Elderly Care program has collaborated with the New Horizons for Seniors on a project entitled Igaluji’g aq Gepmite’lmujig Gisigu’mimajuinu’g – Protect and Respect our Elders. As part of the project, basket making workshops were organized for our senior men and women.
