Mi’gmaw Revitalization Program Survey

The Mi’gmaw Language Revitalization Program is inviting you to take this survey to help develop programs that interest you, our community members. All answers will remain confidential but will be used to help build programs, and generate activities that promote the revitalization of the Mi’gmaw Language. Complete the survey by January 10th, 2025 for a chance to win a $200  Visa Prepaid Gift Card. Draw date: January 13th, 2025

Mi’gmaw Mentor Apprentice Program

Applications for Mi’gmaw Mentor Apprentice Program are now being accepted. Potential participants are invited to submit their applications together as a pair. Apprentice applicants will be contacted for interviews as part of the application process.

 

MMAP is a way of learning a language where a fluent Mi’gmaw speaker (a Mentor) teaches a Mi’gmaw language learner (an Apprentice) through immersion. The goal of the program is to have Apprentices increase their ability to understand and speak Mi’gmaw over the course of 250 hours. The program is open to learners of all levels.

Listuguj Annual Christmas Parade

Join us for the Annual Listuguj Christmas Parade on Sunday, December 15, 2024, starting at 5:00 PM!
The parade will begin at the Casino 88 Parking Lot and make its way to the Community Development Center (Bingo Hall). The event will feature a contest for the Best Decorated Vehicles, participation prizes, and hot refreshments with snacks.
Everyone is welcome to attend and take part in this community gathering!
