Councillor Alcon Resigns His Seat On Council

COUNCILLOR ALCON RESIGNS HIS SEAT ON COUNCIL

 

October 10, 2018 (Listuguj, Quebec) – The Listuguj Mi’gmaq Government regrettably announces the resignation of Councillor Lloyd Alcon who confirmed his resignation from the Council effective October 3, 2018.  His resignation was accepted October 10, 2018 at a Duly Convened Council Meeting.

 

At this time, Chief and Council will remain at eleven (11) seats for council and one (1) seat for Chief.  A by-election will not be necessary.  The Listuguj Mi’gmaq Government would like to take this time to thank Lloyd for his dedication to Listuguj.  His presence and contribution to Council and the community will be missed.  The council wishes him success in his next endeavours.
