Community Notice – New Brunswick Moves to Phase II
The Listuguj Mi’gmaq Government is pleased to share that our neighbours across the bridge have reached Phase II of their reopening plan.
What this means for Listuguj members and residents:
- No new changes for Listuguj Members and Residents since the update provided on June 15, 2021.
- Travel registration is still required. Listuguj members and residents should select one of the following options: ‘Avignon Twinning – Single Use’ or ‘Avignon Twinning – Multiple Use.’ For those registering for the multi-pass, you will receive a hanging window pass in the mail that will allow for quicker entry.
- Listuguj members and residents may travel across the bridge as needed. Entry is no longer limited to essentials only, once per week.
- Testing and isolation requirements are no longer required for Listuguj members and residents who stay within the twinning bubble.
For registration assistance, please contact the Executive Officer at 418-788-2136 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
“The pandemic has been significantly difficult for our region. With the announcement of Phase II, we all move one step closer to normalcy. Soon enough, we’ll be able to travel freely across our territory. We are all eager to get to Phase III which will signal the end of entry requirements and the border will be taken down.” – Councillor Ali Barnaby
