Several months ago, the Fisheries Sector received nomination forms to nominate deserving individuals involved in fisheries to be recognized at the Annual Aboriginal Fisheries Awards.

We submitted Captain Rodney Barnaby’s name and we are extremely happy to inform you that he was selected as “Best Captain” and will be given this honour at the: APC Annual Aboriginal Fisheries Awards Gala Presentation Reception and Dinner, to be held at Crown Plaza Hotel, Moncton, N.B. on Tuesday evening, February 5, 2013
