Attention Community Members!

Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) has posted a Request for Information (RFI) on the CanadaBuys website and is seeking input from Indigenous businesses to better understand capacity and foster collaboration for upcoming construction opportunities in Atlantic Canada, including NB, NL, NS, PEI and communities near the Quebec/New Brunswick border.

Important to know:

Your business does NOT need to be listed on the Indigenous Business Directory (IBD) to participate
If interested, businesses can choose to apply to the IBD at a later time
Participation is voluntary and will not impact eligibility for future procurements

Sectors of interest include (but are not limited to):

Demolition, blasting, excavation, dredging (land & marine), heavy and marine construction, foundations, pile driving, concrete, welding, masonry, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire protection, security systems, roofing, waterproofing, insulation, fencing, doors & windows, flooring, carpentry, interior fit-ups, painting (interior/exterior), sandblasting, equipment rental (with operator), commercial/industrial buildings, prefabricated construction, and more.

There is also an option to identify other related services not listed.
