Listuguj Launches Tourism Initiative on September 11th

LISTUGUJ – September 4, 2019 – On September 10th and 11th, Listuguj will be hosting their first annual Economic Development Symposium. As part of this event on September 11th, the Economic Development Unit is proud to announce the launch of Listuguj Tourism – a new tourism initiative.
Listuguj is located in an important tourism location, with visitors passing through Listuguj as they are traveling through to the Gaspésie, the Atlantic provinces or the United States. The aim is to take advantage of this strategic location to create spaces and attractions for tourists to stay, eat and play while offering opportunities to better understand Mi’gmaq history, people and place.
The first edition of Listuguj’s two-day Economic Development Symposium will focus on entrepreneurship and support entrepreneurs in getting their business ideas off the ground. The Economic Development Unit’s strategic goal is to support business creation and stimulate growth in the community.
The event will be held at the Listuguj Community Development Centre (Bingo Hall), 42 Dundee Rd.
