The 2018 election will be held Saturday, June 2, 2018 at the Alaqsite'w Gitpu School gym from 9:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. The votes will be counted at the Alaqsite'w Gitpu School at 9:00 a.m. on June 3rd, 2018. The results will be declared immediately following the count.
The Listuguj Mi'gmaq Government will be closed for Chief's Day as it is a holiday designated by Chief and Council.
The parade that was scheduled to start at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, June 8th, has been canceled due to the weather. The Inauguration Ceremony will continue for 10:00 a.m. at the Listuguj Community Development Centre (Bingo Hall) to celebrate the new Chief and Council. LMG staff are welcome to attend. Brunch will be served.
