A Message from Listuguj Community Health Services Directorate – Annual Influenza & Covid-19 Vaccine Clinic Dates

Attention Community Members!

Please see the following message from Listuguj Community Health Services Directorate relating to their annual Influenza & Covid-19 vaccine clinic dates.

Listuguj Community Health Services- Maternal Child Health & Immunization program will be holding our annual Influenza & Covid-19 Immunization Clinic on the following dates by appointment only:

– October 20th 4:00 – 7:00pm

– October 27th 9:00 – 4:00pm

– October 28th 9:00 – 4:00pm

In accordance with the Quebec Immunization Protocol, we will be offering these vaccines at no cost to only those who qualify.

To be eligible for the Influenza vaccine, you must:

· Be 65 years old +

· Living in a long-term care facility

· Clients with chronic health conditions that require medical monitoring such as: Heart conditions, Lung Conditions, Diabetes, Renal Disorders or Dialysis, Blood Disorders, Cancer, Severe Obesity, Immunosuppression (due to conditions, or medications)

· Pregnant women in 2nd or 3rd Trimester (over 13 weeks gestation)

· Health care workers

· People living in the same household as a high-risk individual (those mentioned above)

*Babies from 6months-8years old who never received an influenza vaccine in the past will require a booster dose in 4 weeks*

To be eligible for the Covid-19 vaccine, you must:

· Be 65 years old +

· Be age 6 months old + with chronic health condition requiring medical monitoring such as: Heart conditions, Lung Conditions, Diabetes, Renal Disorders or Dialysis, Blood Disorders, Cancer, Severe Obesity, Immunosuppression (due to conditions, or medications)

· Pregnant Women

· Health Care Workers
