The Listuguj Community Health Services is putting in place additional precautionary measures at the Health Center in preparation for the upcoming flu season. Beginning Monday, August 31st, 2020, the Health Center will be ‘Open’ to Walk-In’s for clinical services from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. only.
Because we are still in the ‘first wave’ of the COVID-19 Pandemic, we will continue with the existing precautionary safety measures to protect both the Public and our Staff Members.
These measures include:
➢ Public is required to make appointments for all ‘non-clinical’ programs and services such as medical transportation, home & community care, and Prevention Programs. These appointments will be scheduled for afternoons only.
➢ Public with appointments for ‘non-clinical’ programs and services are asked to enter the Health Center through ‘Entrance A’ (main front door).
➢ There are no changes for the public accessing clinical services at the Health Center.
➢ Public entering the Health Center will undergo a screening and be provided with a mask they must wear for the entire visit in the Health Center.
➢ A ‘drop box’ has been set up just inside the Front Entrance for those who wish to drop off receipts/reimbursement forms/parcels for Health Staff members.
We have made every effort to continue to serve our clients throughout this Pandemic. By following our own, and Public Health measures, together we can all contribute to the safety of our community.
