Capital & Infrastructure

As part of LMG’s infrastructure program, our Directorate holds the vital responsibility of maintaining and developing key components of our community’s infrastructure.

Our scope of work includes a wide range of critical infrastructure elements, such as road maintenance and construction, subdivisions, freshwater systems, wastewater management (including lagoon operations), septic systems, storm drains, and community lighting standards. A notable aspect of our operations is our partnership with Pointe-à-la-Croix through Listuguj Public Works, which plays a pivotal role in the efficient management of the lagoon.

Most of our maintenance and construction activities take place during the spring, summer, and fall months, when weather conditions are most suitable. This seasonal focus helps ensure our infrastructure remains strong and reliable year-round, meeting the needs of our community.

In addition to our regular duties, our Directorate is actively involved in developing proposals for special projects aimed at improving infrastructure. These initiatives are designed to meet emerging needs, introduce innovative solutions, and promote sustainable development within our community.
