Third Confirmed Case of COVID-19 in Listuguj
August 11, 2021 – The Listuguj Mi’gmaq Government is announcing (1) new confirmed case of COVID-19 in the community. The total number of active cases in the community is three.
The LMG and QC Public Health are working collaboratively to monitor the on-going situation closely and to provide on-going support to those affected.
COVID Vaccines and Testing Requirements
If you had your first COVID-19 vaccination ONLY and have been in contact with someone who has tested positive with COVID-19, you need to be tested.
- In-community testing is available by appointment only. To book an appointment with the Listuguj COVID-19 Testing Site, located at 21 Riverside West (across from Metallic’s Grocery), please contact the Listuguj Community Health Services, Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 4:00pm, at (418) 788-2155.
- Alternatively, you can book an appointment with the CLSC in Point-a-la-Croix and other Quebec testing sites by calling 1-877-644-4545 or by visiting their website (link).
Listuguj COVID-19 Mobile Vaccination Clinic
The Listuguj Community Health Services in partnership with QC Public Health (CISSS) are holding a mobile vaccination clinic on Friday, August 13 and Saturday, August 14. No appointment necessary (details below).

Our goal is to reach 75% vaccination rate for Listuguj. This will help ensure the health and well-being of our community during this on-going pandemic.
This is a reminder to all community members and residents of the importance of following the recommended Public Health advice:
- Monitor for symptoms;
- Stay home when sick;
- Wash hands frequently;
- Practice proper cough etiquette; and
- Wear mask when out in public.
