Notice to the Members of Listuguj

On January 15, 2013 the Listuguj Mi’gmaq Government’s Chief and Council have passed a Financial Administration By-law.

The purpose of this By-law is to regulate the management and control of funds and to establish the financial administrative structure of the Listuguj Mi’gmaq Government. This is part of Chief and Council’s commitment to be accountable and transparent in the management of its financial affairs with the community.

The by-law clearly states the specific authorities and the reporting requirements of the Chief and Council and also to the LMG management.
