LMG Early Closure – Solar Eclipse

All LMG offices will be closed on Monday, April 8th at noon due to the upcoming Solar Eclipse.

 

Alaqsite’w Gitpu School’s early departures are as follows:

  • K4-2 will be dismissed at 11:30 AM.
  •  Grades 3-8 will be dismissed at 12:30 PM.

Students will have their lunch before their departure.

 

Observing a solar eclipse without protection can cause temporary or permanent eye damage.

 

Here are a few safety tips to consider:

  • Ensure your eyes are always protected by using approved solar eclipse glasses (ISO 12312-2)
  • Watch an online stream of the event if you are unable to secure proper eyewear.
  • Please supervise children and pets.
