SUMMARY:Cannabis By-Law Community Meeting and Vote
DESCRIPTION:There will be a Cannabis By-Law community meeting and vote on Tuesday\, October 16th\, at the Listuguj Community Development Centre (Bingo Hall).  Doors open at 6:00 p.m. \nPlease bring one form of picture identification\, preferably your Certificate of Indian Status (Band Card). \nThe purpose of this meeting will be to read through the final draft of the Cannabis By-Law with community members and to provide clarity to any questions or concerns.  Following the reading\, community members will vote on whether they approve of the by-law. \nThe event will be live streamed\, and an online voting system will be available for off-reserve members and members who are out of town that day. The link to the voting system will be shared to the LMG Facebook page on the day of the meeting as well as in the description of the live stream. More details to follow. \nHere are some important times to keep in mind: \n\n\n6:00 p.m. – Doors Open \n\n\n6:05 p.m. – Registration Starts \n\n\n6:30 p.m. – Presentation Starts\n\n\n8:00 p.m. – Registration Ends \n\n\n8:30 p.m. – Vote Starts (online and in person) \n\n\n\n\n9:30 p.m. – Online Vote Ends\n\n\n10:00 p.m. – In Person Vote Ends\n\n\n\n\nThe draft by-law is available to read here: http://listuguj.ca/by-laws/
