They have always protected us\, loved us and cared for us.  Now it is our turn to return the favours and make their old age a beautiful one. \nIt is easy to show your respect and gratitude for the older adults in your life. There are many ways to thank seniors for their contributions and to show them just how much they are appreciated. Here are just a few: \n\nsay “thank you”\ncall and take some time to say “hi”\nrun errands for a senior\nhelp with some outdoor chores\n\nAlways remember to care of the hands that took care of you. Hope you have a pleasant day under the present circumstances within our community.  I will be passing out some painting kits to those who wish to have them. I have a limited supply of 15 kits. I also have t-shirts\, coffee mugs and puzzles if you would like to have some. DESCRIPTION:The Listuguj Community Garden is organizing a Haunted Garden on October 30th. The Haunted Garden will be open from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. for children and from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. for teenagers and adults. They are located behind the Gignu Unit\, 4 Gef Street\, off of Glitaw Street.\n\n\n \n\n\nThey are looking for Halloween decorations to help make this the spookiest event in Listuguj. They will also accept old bed sheets or unwanted household items that can be modified to fit the Halloween theme. Donations can be dropped off at the Community Garden between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday or at the Youth Centre if the Community Garden is unattended. DESCRIPTION:The 26th Annual Wellness Fair will be taking place this Friday\, August 2nd. This year’s theme is “Bridging the Gap Between the Generations”. The day will start off with a walk from the old Subway restaurant leaving at around 8:00 a.m. to the powwow grounds. \nWe are please to announce that our keynote speaker will be Elaine Kicknosway\, 60’s Scoop survivor from Denare Beach\, Saskatchewan. We will also welcome Theland Kicknosway who will present us with a hoop dance demonstration. \n\nMake sure to stay until the end to claim any prizes you may win. We’re also trying to reduce\, reuse and recycle our plastic waste\, so please bring your own water bottles to be refilled on site.
