COVID-19 Update – January 4, 2021

Listuguj is reporting no new cases of Covid-19 as of 3:15 p.m. today. Our total number of active cases remains 13.

This morning, Chief and Council held an emergency council meeting to discuss the evolving pandemic situation in Listuguj. Although we are reporting no new cases at this time, there will likely be an uptick in cases in the coming days. To encourage respect for our self-isolation guidelines, Council has unanimously passed a motion granting the Listuguj Community Health Services and the Listuguj Police Department the authority to issue fines to those who fail to follow our measures.
