Community Announcement – 2019 Lobster Fall Fisheries

The 2019 Lobster Food Fishery will begin September 21, 2019 at 6:00am and end October 6, 2019 at 6:00pm. The effort allocated for this season will be 235 traps for a total of 14 days.

Tag Registration: Community members interested in receiving a tag can register at the Natural Resources Directorate Building starting Monday, September 16, 2019 during regular office hours. Please see the table below for more information.

Lobster Cooking and Distribution: Begins September 22, 2019; please see the table below for more information.

Elders & Disability Delivery: Community elders and disability patients can contact Joanne Martin at (418) 788-3022 to get their name on the delivery list. Delivery days will be on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays until the season ends. To be on the delivery list, you must call Joanne Martin each delivery day.

If you have questions or concerns, do no hesitate to contact the Natural Resources Directorate at (418) 788-3022. Please note, no disrespectful behaviours towards employees will be tolerated, and could result in denial of service.

Important Information!	Register in-person with Joanne Martin at the Natural Resource Building during regular office hours. You must complete a tag registration form! Tag holders will receive lobster directly from Lobster Fishers. Tag holders cannot receive lobster from the community line.	Community members must arrive on-site to receive cooked lobster. One bag per adult. First come, first serve basis! Lobster availability depends on weather conditions. Listen to CHRQ for schedule changes!	Available for Elders or disability patients only. Delivers must be scheduled with Joanne Martin at (418) -788-3022 each morning Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Delivery available only Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays!
Schedule & Time	Tag Registration Begins: Monday, September 16, 2019 @ 8:30am   Tag Registration Ends: Thursday, September 19, 2019 @ 4:30pm   Tag holders must make arrangements directly with Lobster Fishers	Lobster distribution will be everyday for a 2-week period. Garage Doors open at 5:00pm on weekdays and noon on weekends! Lobster Distribution Begins: Sunday, September 22, 2019   Lobster Distribution Ends: Sunday, October 6, 2019	Delivery available on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays!
