At the negotiating meeting held Thursday May 10, 2012, Canada tabled a complex and revised offer to the LMG which more than doubles the monetary consideration.
The committee will be reviewing the contents of this offer, and then will return to the negotiation table. We are committed to advancing these negotiations for a just and fair settlement of the claim. We will continue to update the community as the file progresses.

Polling Notice 2012
POLLING NOTICE
Notice is hereby given to the electors of the Listuguj Mi’gmaq Band that a poll will be held to elect one (1) chief and twelve (12) councillors on Saturday, the 2nd day of June, 2012 at the following location:
DATE: Saturday, June 2nd, 2012
TIME: 9:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
LOCATION: Alaqsite’w Gitpu School
22 Caplin Road
Listuguj, Qc
Please be advised that an elector can vote in person at the polling place on the day of the election in lieu of voting by mail-in-ballot.
The votes will be counted at the Alaqsit’ew Gitpu School at 9:00 a.m. on the 3rd day of June 2012. The results will be declared immediately following the count.
