FREE SAFE FOOD HANDLING COURSE

Dear Participants,

A Food Health and Safety Handling Course will be given on November 27, 2012 at the Listuguj Mi’gmaq Development Center (LMDC) beginning at 8:30 am to 5:00pm.

This training is intented for all food establishments and managers and their staff who handle food that is prepares for sale or service (food processing establishments, retail outlets, restaurants, and other food related services)

The training is mandatory since November 2008 in the Province of Quebec and it would be a plus for the community to have members that are qualified and who detain the MAPAQ  certificate.  Holders’ of this certificate also have an edge when applying for jobs in the food industry.
