Listuguj Annual Traditional Gathering
[bread_crumb]
For the past 23 years, Listuguj has been hosting a traditional Pow Wow. Our Mi’gmaq Community is very proud to assist in the exposition of drumming, songs, and dances. We provide the space for all indigenous crafts and food. For 4 days a sacred fire is lit for prayers and spiritual ceremony. A traditional feast is the most enjoyed meal of the year. Our fishermen have supplied the salmon for thousands to enjoy. The moose meat comes from a family of hunters that have continued to teach and share the catch from our forests. The fiddleheads are picked for weeks by our community members and shared with all who attend.
