It is important that you inform Medical Taxi 30 minutes before any upcoming medical appointments in Campbellton and Atholville area. Call 506-789-3143 between 7:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday to Friday. Make sure that a medical attestation signed and dated by treating physician or nurse in charge is given to the MT Driver.
For out-of-town appointments, you must inform the Medical Transportation Supervisor a minimum of 72 hours in advance, no exceptions. Please submit a medical attestation signed and dated by treating physician or nurse in charge in order to be reimbursed.
Weekend Emergency Department
In case of an emergency (weekend), you must provide a medical attestation signed and dated by treating physician or nurse in charge from the emergency department along with taxi receipts in order to be reimbursed.
New Client Definition:
We would like to confirm that our request for a client definition change from the NIHB-MT Program has been accepted by the National Office.
As requested, January 1st 2018 will be the start date for Listuguj’s new client definition; see below.
(1) all registered band members (regardless of their band affiliation) living in Listuguj and in a radius of 40 km from recipient’s reserve in the province of Quebec ; and
(2) all registered members of Listuguj living in Campbellton in the province of New Brunswick;

If you call 911 and require medical transport to any hospital by ambulance, you will receive an invoice in the mail. Once you receive the bill please visit the Listuguj Medical Transportation Program to have the Invoice paid on your behalf. Do not hold onto any ambulance bills.
